Opinion: This species does occur in the region, but its true identity is unknown. Justification: Literature analysis : Originally described as Acis spinosa , only a branch fragment was illustrated so the species is essentially unidentifiable. Kükenthal (1924) reassigned the species to the genus Paracis . Rao & Devi (2003) just listed it under the original name.
