Víquez ), deposited in INBIO (PBI_OON 21114) . DIAGNOSIS: Males resemble those of C. poas (cf. figs. 111–121) in having a broad, flat embolus, which has the proximal and distal prongs fused for much of their length, but have a more rectangular proximal prong (figs. 45–50); females have very thick, heavily sclerotized anterior margin of the genital atrium (figs. 54, 55). MALE (PBI_OON 21114, figs. 45–50): Total length 2.02. Endite ventral process basally widened; distal process narrow. Femora: I r0-1-1; II p0-0-2; metatarsus II v2-1p-1r. Embolus distal and proximal prongs fused for most of their length, producing wide structure with translucent prolateral portion ( N = 36). FEMALE (PBI_OON 88, figs. 51–55): Total length 2.24. Femur II r0-0-0. Genital atrium very short, with broad, heavily sclerotized anterior margin ( N = 18). DISTRIBUTION: Abundant in northern Costa Rica ( Guanacaste , Alajuela , and northern Puntarenas ) .
