Eyestalks prominent, apically rounded or pointed, without ocelli. Pereonites 5– 7 set apart from anterior four. Coxal plates visible in dorsal view on at least pereonites 5–7. Lateral margins of pleotelson denticulate. Antenna, article 3 slightly longer than broad and distinctly shorter than article 5. Mandible palp present, molar process cylindrical with truncate apex. Uropods with distinct protopod and biramous, inserted dorsally just inside lateral margin.
