Remarks
. Originally described from
Madagascar
, this is the only macropterous
Pseudolathra
known from
Réunion
so far. Male sternite VII (
Fig. 4
) is normally pubescent, lacking modified setae, similar to
P. hamoni
but with sparser pubescence particularly in the middle of posterior margin. The excision of the posterior margin of male sternite VIII (
Fig. 20
) is relatively deeper than in
P. hamoni
. The aedeagus (
Figs 1–3
) is characterised by two long processes attached to an asymmetrical apical portion of the ventral process of the aedeagus, a unique feature among Madagascan
