Length: 12mm14.9mm ( 3 specimens ). Head: Red-brown; more or less densely punctate. Antennae: Red-brown; almost reaching base of pronotum when laid alongside. Pronotum: Light red-brown; anterior half subparallel, conspicuously constricted towards base; disc conspicuously wrinkled; length:width ratio 1.54:1. Scutellum: Red-brown. Elytra: Basal third to half red-brown, each elytron with a very faint whitish lateral spot in the basal third, remainder black with white transverse fasciae beyond middle spanning from lateral to sutural margins; diameter of punctures larger than interstices, punctures within fasciae small and sparsely distributed, behind fasciae impunctate; length:width ratio 2.53:1. Legs: Red-brown. Lower surface: Head and thorax light brown to red-brown, abdomen dark brown. Vestiture: With whitish, to reddish (on elytra), hairs. Distribution: Saudi Arabia . Etymology: Named after the region of its occurrence.
