Diagnosis. From the original description. Body length 8.5 mm . Thorax with 3–4 presutural and 3–4 postsutural dorsocentral setae; crossveins r-m and dM-Cu dark brown clouded; cell r 4+5 closed, with a short petiole; mid tibia with 1 anterodorsal seta. Distribution. Tajikstan ( Type locality). Remarks. This species appears to be similar to E. cinerella Mesnil , but differs in frontal vitta as wide as fronto-orbital plate, gena broad, prementum short, 3–4 presutural and 3–4 postsutural dorsocentral setae, and cell r 4+5 with a short petiole.
