Curtonotum saheliense
species-group
Species included: 2 (Afrotropical / Palaearctic).
Synapomorphy: Distiphallus with long, obliquely angled, posteriorly-directed spine basally (44).
Tsacas (1977)
included the two sister species,

saheliense
Tsacas
and
C

simile
Tsacas
, both of which are confined to xeric habitats bordering the Sahara and the Arabian Peninsula, in his
