Eupithecia certa Vojnits, 1981 , Acta zoologica Academiae Scientiarum Hungaricae 27 (3–4): 420, fig. 31. Holotype ♀ (ZFMK, examined), [ China ]: Shansi Prov(ince), Mien-shan, 2000 m (synonymised in Mironov, 2003 ). This is a montane species with a disjunct distribution area: in Europe only in the Alps and Carpathians, but in the vast East Asian area from the Saur Mts. in south-eastern Kazakhstan through southern Siberia (Altai, Sajan Mts., Tuva, Transbaikalia and Dahuria), northern Mongolia and China (Shanxi) to the Magadan region in the north-east. It was recorded for Mongolia as E. kaszabi Vojnits. Mongolia (aimags): Dornod, Govi-Altai, Tuv, Uvurkhangai, Zavkhan.
