Habitat.
Inhabits forest areas, being commonly found near rivers, lakes and swamps, being also found near outcrops (

. 2007
). Roosts in caves, mines, hollow logs, buildings, and culverts in colonies of up to 50 individuals. All our specimens were captured in a pasture field near to limestone outcrops (
