Specimens were collected from dense bamboo shrubs, disturbed forest, and the remaining subtropical forest. In addition, a dead body ( IEBR Motokawa-696) was picked up on a trail at around 1400 m . This species` altitudinal range on Mt. Tay Con Linh is the widest among eulipotyphlan species at 1100– 2100 m . Crocidura dracula is distributed in central and southcentral China , northern Laos , northern Vietnam , and northern Myanmar ( He, 2018e ).
