Note: The original description included syntypes from two “type localities” ( 1 male and 1female from “ Cochabamba ” ([ Cochabamba Department ] Bolivia ) and 1 male from Marcapata ([ Cuzco Department] Peru ), [probably] in Grouvelle collection), in MNHN [in Jeannel, 1936 , who states “one male type” and gives Cochabamba as type locality, referring only to this record as “type”; Hatch, 1928: 158 also refers only to Bolivia and cites Jeannel, 1921: 233 (Fig. 1 – 4), who only illustrates the species, with no reference to distribution].
