Brigantiaea phaeomma
(Nyl.) Hafellner
Previously,
Brigantiaea phaeomma
was known only from the Southern Hemisphere, including
Argentina
,
Australia
and
New Zealand
(Hafellner 1997). It is characterized by apothecia covered by a rust-brown granular pruina which reacts KOH+ purple, 1-spored asci and in being muscicolous rather than corticolous. This report is a new addition to the Chinese lichen biota.
