Remarks:
Wheeler and Forrest (2002)
redescribed and illustrated this species based on specimens from
Jamaica
. The Central American specimens examined in this study do not differ in morphological characters from the Jamaican specimens. The
type
locality is San José,
Costa Rica
(
Adams 1908
) but the
holotype
was lost several years ago (
Wheeler and Forrest 2002
).
