Distribution and habitat. Distribution in Afghanistan : Tedzhen, Murgab, Koshk, Shelag Rivers.—General distribution: Middle East and South Asia: Turkmenistan , Iran , Afghanistan and Pakistan .—Habitat: This species occurs in streams with stone beds. It is a benthopelagic species mostly found along the sides of streams where the water is slow and transparent. Freshwater. Economic importance. No commercial importance. Conservation.
