DISTRIBUTION. — Southern New Caledonia and now Tonga (new records), shells in 360-407 m . REMARKS. — Pterynotus levii is easily distinguishable from the other Pterynotus species from the Indo-West Pacific by its elongate, very narrow aperture, narrow shell, long siphonal canal and wide, expanded varical wings.
