TYPE SPECIES. — Teredorus stenofrons Hancock, 1907 , by original monotypy. COMPOSITION AND DISTRIBUTION. — Only two species, T. aztecus and T. stenofrons in the Americas. See notes. REMARK The literature covered under the genus section pertains only to the Americas. It is clear that the Asian species do not belong to this genus. This issue is well-known ( Storozhenko & Dawwrueng 2015 ; Devriese & Husemann 2023 ) and is not furher discussed in this paper.
