Selys (1873a) listed it in the generic summary from “Quito” but in the discussion he listed it only from Bogotá , Colombia . (P16) listed it only from Colombia . Also BRA, COL, PER: ( P11 ). We think that “ Bahia ” was actually in Brazil , since the Ecuadorian location proposed by Montgomery (1967) is on the Pacific coast totally disjunct from the other recorded localities of this species.
