Holotype , ♀: FRENCH POLYNESIA : Society Islands: Windward Islands ( = Îles du Vent ) , Tahiti, Aorai, 2000 m , 10-12.ix.1977 , S.L. Montgomery leg. ( BPBM ). Redescription. FEMALE. Apterous; length 3.7 mm. Head brown, except mandible, clypeus and anterior region of face testaceous; antenna testaceous; mesosoma black, except margins of pronotum brown; metasoma black; legs yellow, except metacoxa partly black. Antenna clavate; antennal segments in following proportions: 9:6:17:8:7:7:7:7:6:9. Head excavated, shiny, unsculptured, except ocellar area and temple granulated; frontal line complete; occipital carina incomplete, only shortly present behind and on sides of posterior ocelli; POL = 1; OL = 2; OOL = 8. Palpal formula 4/2. Pronotum shiny, unsculptured, crossed by very slight transverse impression. Scutum dull, sculptured by some longitudinal striae. Scutellum shiny and smooth. Metanotum reticulate rugose, not hollow behind scutellum. Meso-metapleural suture obsolete. Metathorax + propodeum completely sculptured by transverse keels. Mesopleuron reticulate rugose. Metapleuron transversely striate. Protarsal segments in following proportions: 18:3:5:18:26. Enlarged claw ( Fig. 41 ) with one large subapical tooth and one row of seven lamellae. Segment 5 of protarsus ( Fig. 41 ) with two rows of about 18 lamellae; distal apex with five lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/0/1. MALE. Unknown. Hosts . Unknown. Distribution .
