The specific name is a patronym honoring the arachnologist Darrell Ubick ( California Academy of Sciences), recognizing his great contribution to the Goblin Spiders PBI. Diagnosis . Males resemble those of H. quadraginta s p. nov. , H. ilhoa sp. nov. and H. marajoara sp. nov. by the conductor approximately the same size of the embolus, without proximal projection and with single tip, the absence of endite’s P3, and endite’s P1 transversally oriented, folded over itself, adjacent to mp and devoid of prolateral process ( Figs 78C , 81C , 84C ); they differ by the endite’s P2 laminar, with broad apices ( Fig. 75C ) (tip narrow, not laminar in H. quadraginta s p. nov. , H. ilhoa sp. nov. and H. marajoara sp. nov. ). Females differ from those of the other species with a narrow postepigastric plate (distinctly wider than long) bearing a small scape and with narrow book long covers, smaller than the width of pedicel opening ( H. quadraginta s p. nov. , H. kropfi sp. nov. , H. santosi sp. nov. , and H. izquerdoi sp. nov. ; Figs 33F–H , 56F–H , 77F–H , 86F–H ) by the posterior margin of postepigastric plate triangular (semicircular in H. quadraginta s p. nov. and H. kropfi sp. nov. ), not elevated (elevated in H. santosi sp. nov. ), slightly sclerotized (sclerotized in H. izquerdoi sp. nov. ) ( Figs 74F–H ). Description . Male (PBI_OON 43879). Total length 1.35. CEPHALOTHORAX: Carapace orange-brown, without any pattern, pars cephalica domed in lateral view, surface of elevated portion of pars cephalica smooth, sides striated, fovea present ( Figs 73B–C ). Eyes ALE circular, PME oval, PLE oval; posterior eye row recurved from above, procurved from front; ALE separated by more than their diameter, ALE-PLE separated by less than ALE radius, PME separated by less than their radius, PLE-PME separated by less than PME radius ( Fig. 73E ). Sternum as long as wide, orange-brown, median concavity absent, with radial furrows between coxae I–II, II–III, III–IV, furrow with rows of small pits, surface smooth, without pits, microsculpture only in furrows ( Figs 73D , 75A ). Mouthparts : Chelicerae, endites and labium orange-brown. Chelicerae distal region abruptly narrowed ( Fig. 73E ). Labium anterior margin anteriorly projecting at middle, wider than long ( Fig. 75B ). Endites with a median projection (mp), a P1 and a P2; mp very short, with wide base and narrow tip, directed anteriorly; P1 winding, situated laterally to mp, anterior margin serrated. P2 lamellar, situated anteriorly to P1 ( Figs 73F, E–H ). ABDOMEN: dorsum soft portions yellow, without color pattern. Book lung covers small, very narrow. Dorsal scutum orange-brown, covering full length of abdomen, no soft tissue visible from above. Epigastric slightly protruding. Postepigastric scutum orange-brown, long, semicircular, covering nearly full length of abdominal length ( Figs 73B,G ). LEGS: yellow. GENITALIA: Epigastric region with sperm pore situated posteriorly in relation to posterior spiracles ( Fig. 73G ). Palp proximal segments yellow; embolus tip not bent upwards; conductor present, without projections, shorter than embolus, with gradually narrowed tip ( Figs 73G–I ). Female (PBI_OON 43873). As in male except as noted. Total length 1.40. Carapace pars cephalica strongly elevated in lateral view ( Fig. 74B ). Sternum surface finely reticulate, microsculpture medially and in furrows. Mouthparts : Labium rectangular, anterior margin not indented at middle ( Fig. 74D ). ABDOMEN: Epigastric scutum not protruding. Postepigastric scutum almost semicircular ( Figs 74B,F ). GENITALIA: Ventral view: postepigastric plate forming a very short postepigastric scape; copulatory orifice slit shaped, very narrow, situated on the anterior margin of the postepigastric plate. Dorsal view: anterior genitalic process with small, recurved arms ( Figs 74G–H , 75J–L ). Other material examined.
