Colour: Pale dull grey, lustrous (Fig. 628), becoming paler greenish­grey to greyishbrown and reddish­brown, then transparent on maturity. Size (mm): (n=10) L = 1.13 ± 0.02, W = 0.83 ± 0.01, T = 0.79 ± 0.01 Width/length: 0.73 No. of females: 1 Aeropylar opening size (m) (n=6): L = 4.85 ± 0.42, W = 4.15 ± 0.38 Relative aeropylar opening size: 4.6 Micropyles : Distinct (Figs 630 & 631) No. of openings: 4 No. of cells in rosette: 8 No. of rows of cells in micropylar area: 4 Shape: Moderately narrow, bluntly ovoid, sub­cuboidal, slightly dorso­ventrally flattened; anterior pole only slightly wider than posterior pole (Figs 628, 630, 632 & 633). Characteristics : Tough chorion. Egg marked on all surfaces by hexagonal, concave cells with moderately broad, slightly elevated walls (Figs 629, 630, 632–634), cell walls on wider top side, barely discernible, not defined by aeropyles (Figs 632 & 34), anterior polar cell walls narrow (Fig. 631). Aeropyles slightly elevated, openings moderately large, (Fig. 635) present only on anterior pole (Fig. 630). Micropylar cells slightly recessed (Fig. 631). Chorion rather granular, blistered (Fig. 636).
