References: Peragallo and Peragallo 1897–1908, p. 144, pl. 28, fig. 1; Hustedt 1961–1966, p. 519, fig. 1559. Morphometrics: Valves 62 (45–77) μm long, 27 (21–26) μm wide, transapical striae 11 (11–14) in 10 μm, and puncta in a stria 13 (13–16) in 10 μm. Remarks: Lyrella concilians is distributed in the western Pacific Ocean: Honolulu, Samoa , and China (Hustedt 1961–1966). This taxon was reported from Villefranche of the Mediterranean (Peragallo & Peragallo 1897–1908), and rarely from the other areas except the type locality. It was found twice in salt marshes of the Seogwipo coast in Jeju Island, representing a new record for South Korea .
