Chrysobothris biramosa biramosa : Nelson, 1966 :39 (part; misidentification). This species is known only from Arizona and Colorado ( Fisher, 1942 ). In color it ranges from green to copper to dark brown, and elytral markings, if present, are postmedian and subdued or in distinct. We have examined one exception, a green female with a broad apical violaceous apical elytral marking. Unlike the other species, nothing has been recorded of its habits, and relatively few specimens have been collected. However, we examined a good series from Arizona, Coconino Co., Moenave, 24-VI-67 , taken on Atriplex canescens , ASUC. As Cazier (1938) stated, this species comes closest to K. atrifasciata . It may prove to be only subspecifically distinct.
