First Anthomyzidae (Diptera) from China: a new genus, six new species and new records Author Roháček, Jindřich text Acta Entomologica Musei Nationalis Pragae 2018 2018-04-25 58 1 35 76 journal article 10.2478/aemnp-2018-0007 5397a3ac-ffb7-408e-ab5b-50be49c2331d 1804-6487 3676725 9808C120-13B7-43F8-B735-C13D2B6D43CA Anthomyza cuneata Roháček, 1987 Material examined. CHINA : SICHUAN : Pingwu Co., Laohegou Reserve, 32°29′3.20′′N 104°43′9.96′′E , 1400–2100 m , 13.–17.v.2016 , 1, O. Lonsdale leg. ( CNCI , genit. prep.). Remarks. Probably the most ancestral species of the Anthomyza bellatrix group (see ROHÁČEK 2009 ) characterized by less asymmetry in the male genitalia and internal sclerites of the female genital chamber (cf. ROHÁČEK 1987 ). The above specimen from Sichuan differs slightly in the shape of the apical projections of the filum of the distiphallus from that of Nepalese specimens but this small dissimilarity is surely within the variability of this character. Biology. Unknown. Habitat data are not indicated in the type series ( ROHÁČEK 1987 ) nor in the specimen examined here. In Nepal , the species was collected at 2000–3500 m in April to June, therefore it is probable that the specimen from Sichuan was also collected at about 2000 m (cf. altitude range on its label data). Distribution. Anthomyza cuneata was previously known only from Nepal ( ROHÁČEK 1987 ). First record from China ( Sichuan ).
