Comments.
This species occupies very distinct habitats, consisting of slow flowing or stagnant water, fresh or brackish, up to
380 m
asl. It was first recorded from
Tunisia
by
Omer-Cooper (1930)
under the name of
Anisops canariensis
Noualhier
in southern localities (Teboulbou, Gabès).
