Definition.
Larva of the single species placed here, differs from all other
Thraulodes
by wider anterior transverse setal row on labrum (
Fig. 563
) and opposite bent of tergalii (
Figs 585–588
). Imago differs from all other
Thraulodes
by very compact black preapical band on hind femur (
Figs 574, 575
).
Composition.
One species,
Th. alboniger
sp. n.
is described here. Variability of imaginal coloration (
Figs 574, 575
) allows to assume that the
type
series consists of more than one species. To verify this, it is necessary to rear from larvae imagines of the light form (
Figs 571, 573, 574
).
