K. Gaston ]. Remarks. This species was known from a single holotype female from Costa Rica . Male of Z. armandoi is recorded here for the first time. The male specimen from Mexico well corresponds with the original description of this species, including such important features as absence of the epicnemial carina and presence of the vertical crest on the epicnemium at the level of the lower corner of pronotum. Colour pattern of male. Head black with clypeus brownish. Mesosoma entirely black. Metasoma reddish brown. Fore and mid coxae and trochanters white with brownish marks on dorsal sides; fore femur and tibia, and mid femur, tibia and tarsus blackish (fore tibia pale apically), fore tarsus whitish. Hind coxa and trochanters black; femur dark reddish brown, darkened apically; tibia dark reddish brown on inner side and fuscous on outer side; tarsus fuscous. Wings uniformly blackish.
