Having transferred Omias angustulus Wollaston, 1854 , to the genus Atlantis , the secondary homonymy with Atlantis angustula Wollaston, 1863 , was solved by Wollaston establishing a new name for the latter species: Atlantis (Canopus) grayana Wollaston, 1865 ( Wollaston 1865 , p 309). This solution is also valid under Laparocerus . The present name of the species is Laparocerus grayanus ( Wollaston, 1865 ) .
