Priesner
(
Figs. 98–103
)
Female macroptera
. Body uniformly brown to dark brown, femora shaded, tibia brownish yellow; antennal segments I to II brown with slightly pale at apex of II, III brownish yellow with apical third shaded, IV to VII brown; fore wings brown with basal fifth including clavus slightly pale; all legs yellow; prominent body setae dark brown. Head (
Fig. 98
) rounded at cheeks. Ocellar setae III behind fore ocellus and subequal length to diameter of hind ocellus. Postocular setae I slightly longer than III, II and IV minute. Antennae (
Fig. 99
) 7-segmented, segments III to IV with apical neck, VI the longest and gently tapering distal two-thirds. Pronotum (
Fig. 98
) distinctly sculptured with transverse striae, with about 25 discal setae; posteroangular setae two pairs, setae I slightly longer than setae II; posteromarginal setae 2 or 3 pairs, setae I the longest. Mesonotum with CPS anteromedially. Metascutum (
Fig. 100
) reticulate, with internal wrinkles on anterior reticles; median pair of setae far from anterior margin; CPS absent. Fore wing first vein with seven basal and three distal setae. Abdominal tergite II with 3 (sometime 4) lateral marginal setae; tergites II to VIII with one or two lines of sculpture often reaching to S1 setae, but usually no lines reaching at median CPS; tergite VIII with no posteromarginal comb medially, a few microtrichia laterally; tergite IX with 2 pairs of CPS; sternite I with three microsetae anteromedially; sternites III to VI (
Fig. 101
) usually with 1 pair of (often one) discal setae, discal setae often absent on one or more or all sternites; sternite VII with no discal setae, S1 setae far from posterior margin; pleurotergites without discal setae and ciliate microtrichia.
Male macroptera
. Body uniformly pale yellow. Antennal segment VI with more 20 setae. Abdominal tergite VIII without posteromarginal comb; tergite IX (
Fig. 102
) with S1 setae at level of S2 setae and slightly longer than S2 setae, their bases equidistant; sternites III to VII (
Fig. 103
) each with an oblong pore plate.
