Remarks: Chinquihue is a new locality record for Saemundssonia ( Saemundssonia ) bicolor in Chile , based on a sample from Fulmarus glacialoides held in NHML ( Shchedrina et al . 2017 ). Palma (1994: 67) synonymised Saemundssonia creatopae under Saemundssonia ( S. ) bicolor and presented evidence showing that Puffinus creatopus is not a natural, regular host for this louse species.
