Remarks This species was originally described based on two males from Bolivia . The female remains unknown. Crown, pronotum, genital capsule and aedeagus were illustrated by Cwikla and DeLong (1985) . This species appears to be close to E. machaera Kramer ( Cwikla and DeLong 1985 ) . The apex of the aedeagus, in caudal view, and the apex of the style, in ventral view, easily distinguish E. calibera from other species of the genus. Distribution Bolivia . Paraguay (new record for the genus). Material examined One male from Paraguay , Canindeyu Department , “ Paraguay , Canindeyu \ 24– 28.V.1996 \ A C.F. Costa leg”; “Reserva Natural del\ Bosque Mbaracayu,\ Jejui-mi Mal.3” ( DZUP ) .
