Otiothops walckenaeri MacLeay, 1839 , by monotypy. Remarks. Species belonging to Otiothops differ from other Otiothopinae by having dense claw tufts on tarsi II–IV and closely spaced posterior median eyes ( Platnick 1975 ; Piacentini et al . 2013 ). The genus is distributed from the West Indies and Panama to Argentina and Uruguay (except Chile ) ( Piacentini et al . 2013 ; World Spider Catalog 2015).
