(1950) , and Chandler (1990) reported that this species was most commonly collected from hardwood tree holes and rotten wood. Specimens from New Brunswick were captured in Lindgren funnel traps deployed in an 110-year-old red spruce forest with red maple ( Acer rubrum L.), an old red pine forest, an old mixed forest, and an old red oak forest. Adults were captured during May, June, and July. Distribution in Canada and Alaska. ON, QC, NB ( Davies 1991 ).
