The main characteristics of the genus
Uroactinia
are the following (HIRSCHMANN, 1993): Idiosoma: Shape oval or circular. Gnathosoma: All setae long and with serrated margins. Corniculi with some teeth. The branches of tritosternum covered by short hairs. Chelicerae with nodus and fungiform process on its apical part.
