Hosts and distribution . This species is known from Erithacus rubecula (Linnaeus) ( Passeriformes : Muscicapidae ) from Europe (Cherny & Sixl 1971 ; Fain et al . 1999; Bochkov & Literak 2008 ) and from Turdus amaurochalinus ( Passeriformes : Turdidae ) [ new host ] from Brazil (Minas Gerais) (present paper).
