Remarks
This species most strongly resembles
P. concepcionensis
because it also has a shouldered shell with similar axial lamellae ending as short open spines on P1, and a long, broadly open, siphonal canal. However, it differs in having a broader, more strongly shouldered shell with broader and slightly longer shoulder spines, and a comparatively broader siphonal canal. It is unclear whether it is just a form of
P. concepcionensis
or a distinct species.
