Leptacis pauliani / Risbec/ Rempart de Bélouve/ La Reunion R. P. [ syntypes 3 ƤƤ]. Remarks. The three syntypes are mounted on a microscope slide. One is dissected into many small pieces in the residue of an oily liquid under a cover slip. The other two are dry-mounted under a second cover slip, one whole, the other slightly crushed with its head broken off but still present. Both cover slips are ringed with a soft, clear resin. A further syntype female mentioned by Risbec was not found but may be at the MRAC. This species was transferred to Synopeas by Masner (1960) . This species was omitted from Vlug’s (1995) catalogue.
