Diagnosis.
This species can be easily differentiated from all other species of
Pseudacroclita
by the nearly semicircular cucullus and the presence of two non-deciduous cornuti in the phallus in male genitalia. In other species the cucullus is triangular or ovoid and there is a bundle of spiculate deciduous cornuti in the phallus.

5.5 mm
, ground color light brown, scattered with some silvery scales; apex fulvous and falcate; termen concave; costa with seven pairs of silvery strigulae; basal four pairs located from base to about 1/3 of costa; other three pairs confluent with each other and extending to termen, seventh composed of one short streak extending from apex and confluent with fifth and sixth strigulae; a black fascia extending from costal 1/4 toward, but not reaching, dorsum; ocellar patch silvery gray, elongate, outer margin serrate and fulvous; cilia yellowish-brown with brown basal line. Hindwing and cilia gray. Abdomen: Male genitalia (
Fig. 4
) with uncus rudimentary; socius broadly ovoid, hairy. Valva with cucullus larger than sacculus, with distinct neck; sacculus angle produced into a very small papillary process, setose; cucullus nearly semicircular, hairy, with a slender spine on ventral angle (lost in fig. 4). Etymology.

Remarks.

Pseudacroclita
.
