Media.Thoracis clypeiis transversus, cyaneus, immaculatus, antice subemarginatus. Elytra medio gibba, cyanea maculis tribus rubris, prima baseos, secunda in margine et tertia versus marginem.’ ( FABRICIUS 1781 ). Current status. Cyrtonota sexpustulata ( Fabricius, 1781 ) . Remarks. ZIMSEN (1964) reported two specimens in BMNH, but apparently in error since there is only one (the opposite error occurred for C. marginella ). This name has been correctly applied since its description and the present identi¿cation is in accordance with the type .
