Etymology.
The specific name refers to the
type
locality. It is to be treated as a noun in apposition.
Diagnosis.
This species resembles
C. nesophila
comb. nov.
in general appearance. Males can be distinguished from the latter by the shape of the embolar prolateral process with narrower and straight sclerotized area, by the less angular ventro-distal tip of the conductor, and by the absence of the embolus dorsal teeth (
Figs 47A
̅D). Females can be distinguished from
C. nesophila
comb. nov.
by the shape of the internal genitalia with a slightly pronounced anterior portion and smaller chitinized wall area (
Fig. 48H
), which is proportionally more pronounced and broader in the females of the
C. nesophila
comb. nov.
(
Fig. 38H
).

Description. Male
(
PBI
_OON 38845). Total length: 1.79. CEPHALOTHORAX:
Carapace
orange-brown, broadly oval in dorsal view, pars cephalica slightly elevated in lateral view, surface of elevated portion of pars cephalica granulate, sides granulate; lateral margin without denticles.
Clypeus
straight in front view, high, ALE separated from edge of carapace by their radius or more (around ALE diameter).
Eyes
all subequal; ALE separated by more than their diameter, PLE-PME separated by less than PME radius.
Sternum
orange-brown, fused to carapace, furrow wrinkled, surface finely punctuate, microsculpture only medially, anterior margin with continuous transverse groove, posterior margin not extending posteriorly of coxae IV; setae originating from surface.
Mouthparts:
Chelicerae, endites and labium orange-brown. Chelicerae anterior face unmodified; retromargin without teeth; fangs without tooth-like projections; paturon inner margin with brush, laminate groove absent. Labium anterior margin indented at middle. Endites anteromedian part forming a groove between serrula and the apical portion. ABDO-
MEN
: rounded posteriorly; dorsum soft portions pale white. Book lung covers angular in ventral view. Pedicel scuto-pedicel region with widely W-shaped scutal ridge, plumose setae dorsal and lateral of pedicel. Dorsal scutum orange-brown, middle surface granulate, sides granulate. Epigastric scutum: anterior spiracles secondary openings at level of epigastric furrow in an indent. Postepigastric scutum orange-brown, almost semicircular, fused to epigastric scutum, without posteriorly directed lateral apodemes. Spinneret scutum large. LEGS: orange-brown. GENITALIA: Epigastric region with sperm pore circular, situated in front of anterior spiracles, rebordered. Palp proximal segments yellow-brown. Conductor narrowing towards end forming a relatively long, large and distally sharp pointed sclerotized tip; embolar tip with long translucent embolar distal process; embolar prolateral process narrow with narrow dorsal translucent area (
Figs 47A
̅D).
Female
(
PBI
_OON 02763). As in male except as noted. Total length: 1.80. CEPHALOTHORAX:
Mouthparts:
paturon inner margin with short inter-digitating setae. GENITALIA: internal genitalia general shape subquadrate, chitinized wall area occupying less than one third of internal genitalia width, receptaculum rounded (
Fig. 48H
).
Other material examined.
None.
