Notes:
—This may be confused with
Selaginella novae-hollandiae
which has auricled, basally ciliate median leaves (
vs
. not auricled, basally glabrous), and basally ciliate lateral leaves (
vs
. glabrous). This species, like
S. novae-hollandiae
, sometimes bears sobols near stem bases.
