Centris fisheri
is another endemic species of the
BCP
. This species had been recorded in the Sarcocaulescent Shrubland in
September 1981
and the Gulf
Coast
by the
INHS
(iDigBio 2023). We reviewed the
holotype
collected in the Vizcaíno Desert in
October 1972
(
LACM
). The
CARCIB
team extended the known distribution to
BC
by collecting it in
July 2017
from
Valle
de los
Cirios
in the
Central Desert. See
