Body slender as juveniles, robust as adults; digits slender, inflected; dorsal surfaces covered tubercles (less pronounced in juveniles); dorsal color- ation dark brown to dark gray; yellowish white mosaic pattern on top of head; three light irregular bands on body; upper lip with small, irregular white spots; white bands on dorsal surfaces of limbs and tail.
