Diagnosis
: Carapace roundish, fairly smooth. Main sulcus deep and long, running in a curved shape, ending below the centre in a groove-like indentation. Front sulcus significantly shorter and flatter, describing a bow, open towards the posterior. Female carapace thick with a wide ventral bulge; posterior end of carapace is swollen, broadly rounded in dorsal view. Male carapace in dorsal view tapers quite narrowly, maximum thickness [width] just behind the middle.
