India ( Karnataka , Maharashtra ) ( HEBERDEY 1934 , KEJVAL 1999 ). Remarks. The specimen from ZMUC bears the identification label ‘ Formicomus apoderinus ’ by Telnov. This species was described by WASMANN (1898) from a single, probably female specimen collected in the Indian state of Gujarat . As I already mentioned ( KEJVAL 1999 ), it may be identical with Anthelephila praetor parvicollis . However, its true identity has never been revised and remains uncertain.
