Distribution.

GORY & PERCHERON (1833)
,
Coelocratus rufipennis
is from
Brazil
, but they did not provide a more detailed locality, and
BURMEISTER (1842)
restricted it to northern
Brazil
. Actual specimens in the Burmeister collection (MLUH) are labelled as being from Cayenne (
French Guiana
) (
Fig. 6
).
