Remarks.
The distinct unkeeled periphery, inflated test with finely perforate walls, papillate ornament on the walls of the depressed sutures and sides of the sutural pits (
Fig. 24
:19, 20) indicates an affinity with
C
.
excavatum
. The acute peripheral edge is less common for this species however, and the small number of fragmentary tests available precludes a more definite species assignment.
Distribution within study area.
This species was collected from site
8 in
One Tree Lagoon 1 and site
8 in
Heron Lagoon with no more than two specimens per site.
