Distribution and ecology
(
Figs. 4a, e–f
). The species is known only from
China
:
Nei Mongol
Autonomous Region,
Qinghai
and
Shaanxi
provinces (
Yang & Li 2018
). It was redescribed by
Li
et al.
(2013)
from
Nei Mongol
under the name
Nemoura cf. securigera
Klapálek, 1907
. We recently found this species at several localities in the Qinling Mountain,
Shaanxi
, the
type
locality of the species (unpublished data). We believe that the populations in
Nei Mongol
and
Qinghai
represent the same species as the Qinling populations. The species was never found in Qinling during summer surveys of recent years, but occurs during summer in
Nei Mongol
and
Qinghai
. It emerges from early April
Nei Mongol
and Qinling (unpublished data). Two of the
Qinghai
males were collected together with
N. jixiangwangi
at Deqian village (
Fig. 4a
), and another one was found in a forest stream at Qihankai valley (
Fig. 4e
).
