A. suiamissu sp. n. differs from other species by the combination of the following characters: labrum with 2 setae, antepronotal lobe with 7 setae, pigmentation of front and middle femora and front tibia, expanded megaseta, aedeagal complex with only 1 grooved aedeagal blade, dorsal lobe present. Etymology. Named after Suiamissu river. Male (n = 5, unless otherwise stated): Dimensions : Total length 2.41–3.02 mm . Wing length 1.25–1.56 mm . Total length/wing length 1.93–1.95. Wing length/length of profemur 2.99–3.04. Coloration ( Figs 72A–E , 73A ): wings and abdomen follow figures 72A and 72E, respectively. Legs ( Fig. 72B– D ): P I, P III —femora with 3 bands, tibiae with 3 bands; P II —femora with 2 bands, tibiae with 3 bands. Ratio of bands, related tibiae and tarsomeres 1 follow table 54. Thorax : antepronotals 7; humerals 6; prealars 22–27; supraalar 1; scutelars 45–50. Legs ( Fig. 72B–D ): P I –apex of tibia 37–43 µm wide and with apical pectinated spur 39–44 µm long, spur ratio 0.58–0.64; tarsomeres 1–2 with 2 pseudospurs 46–59 µm long. P II –apex of tibia 41–44 µm wide and with 2 apical pectinated spurs 40–42 and 20–22 µm long, spurs ratio 0.57–0.60 and 0.50–0.53 respectively; tarsomeres 1–3 with 2 pseudospurs 36–54 µm long. P III —coxa with 5 central microsetae; apex of tibia 43–51 µm wide and with 2 apical pectinated spurs 38–43 and 25–33 µm long, spurs ratio 0.67–0.70 and 0.52–0.73 respectively; tarsomeres 1–3 with 2 pseudospurs 59–47 µm long. Hypopygium ( Fig. 73A–D ): tergite IX with 2 central setae; anal point covers partially the aedeagal complex; phallapodeme 28–35 µm long; sternapodeme 43–54 µm long; gonocoxite 94–117 µm long and 53–65 µm wide; gonostylus 95–118 µm long and with 10 apical teeth; expanded megaseta; HR 0.99–1.03; HV 2.25–2.56. Aedeagal complex: grooved aedeagal blade with curved apex 26–32 µm long and base 6–7 µm, 9/10 4 µm; dorsal lobe with fringe, 12–15 µm long and base 8–9 µm, lateral lobe and basidorsal lobe present. Female and immatures: unknown.
