Mandible molar present; palp 3-articulate, setal formula for distal article 1-x- 1 (although it could be also considered 1-x- 0 from proximal to distal end since the distal seta is not as long as the proximal one). The species name refers to “A Selva”, the interesting deep-sea area located in the Northwest of Galicia where most of the specimens of this new genus were collected.
