XX, fig. 23 (HT). Type material. Holotype ɞ Liancheng, Yongdeng. Gansu, 2,200m , 15.VI.1988 . [ IZAS , images of type examined] Diagnosis. This rather recently described species is similar to P. sternecki and P. hreblayi , but can be separated by the larger wingspan, the dark grey ground colour with indistinct pattern elements, especially in the hindwings, and the rather uniform underside of the wings, without strongly contrasting whitish postmedial lines as in the other two species. The male antennae are moderately bipectinate, as in P. sternecki . The slanted costal part of the central fascia of forewing is broader than in sternecki , the discal dots in nebulata are much smaller than in sternecki and hreblayi . The male genitalia of nebulata are similar to those of hreblayi and sternecki by the U-shaped uncus, the latter being wide as in sternecki but deep as in hreblayi . P. nebulata agrees with sternecki also in the distally blunt costal process and the long and slender saccular arm without a broadened distal tip, the latter being stout and broad at tip in hreblayi . In the female genitalia, the small and more or less rounded lateral sterigma-plates distinguish nebulata from those of the other two which are larger and roundly extended caudally. Material examined. No additional material has been examined. Distribution. NW. China (Gansu).
